Conceived by Marcel Wanders, the Mondrian Doha is a bold expression of modern luxury, where art, imagination, and culture come together. As part of Marcel Wanders’ design team, I collaborated with the interior designers to create surface patterns for rugs, mosaics, murals, wallpapers, textiles and more. Drawing on regional motifs, Arabic script and the spirit of historic souks, the surface pattern designs complement signature features like the golden-egg columns and the floral ‘tree of life’, helping to craft a rich, immersive, and unforgettable experience throughout the hotel.
